Artyland is operated by ArtAcad LLC. We use the parent’s name, email, account preferences, enrollment records, payment references and lesson completion choices to provide the service. We do not ask children to create accounts or enter their personal information.
Cloudflare hosts the application and database. Vimeo delivers embedded course video with do-not-track enabled. Stripe processes payments; we do not store card numbers. SendGrid delivers sign-in, welcome and enrollment emails. Optional weekly course reminders are sent only with your consent; use the unsubscribe link or your account preferences to stop them.
Google sign-in is optional and requests basic identity information: name, email and profile. It does not request access to Gmail or Drive. Session cookies keep you signed in. Security controls use limited connection information to prevent abuse.
Google Analytics runs on public information pages only after an adult selects analytics consent. Marketing consent is separate. Meta Pixel measures visits to public course pages only after an adult explicitly allows marketing. Automatic advanced matching and automatic event collection are disabled; we do not send names, emails, account or lesson activity to Meta. We do not track the lesson player or parent account with advertising tools. You can change cookie choices using the footer control. We do not sell personal data.
To request access, correction or deletion, contact info@artyland.net. We retain account information while needed to provide access and keep transaction records where required. Service providers may process data outside your country. If a certificate is requested, provide only the first name you want displayed and only with parental permission.
With your analytics permission, Artyland stores the first consented arrival source for up to 30 days: campaign labels, referring website hostname and public landing page. When you create an account, we associate this source and an approximate country with your account to understand registrations and purchases in our private administration panel. We do not store advertising click IDs, search queries, full referring URLs or IP addresses for this purpose, or send this account association to Google or Meta. Withdrawing analytics permission clears the browser source record and prevents future collection; contact us to request deletion of information already associated with your account.
Arty and drawing help
Arty is a course guide. The chat shows whether AI is available. In course-guide mode, questions are not sent to OpenAI. When AI mode is enabled, your message, recent chat context and any drawing a parent chooses to upload are sent to OpenAI to generate a reply and check content safety. Drawing reviews require active course access and an enabled review service.
Use Arty with an adult parent or guardian. Share only the drawing, without children’s names, faces, contact details, school information or other private details. We remove image metadata and do not save chat content or drawings in the site database or file storage. Temporary usage counters use hashed identifiers to prevent abuse and excessive use; they do not contain chat text.
The assistant can make mistakes. Its feedback supports learning and encouragement; it is not a formal assessment or a replacement for adult supervision. You can close or clear the chat at any time. To report an unsuitable reply, contact info@artyland.net with a general description and no child’s private information. Provider data controls apply; disabling saved responses does not by itself remove all forms of provider retention.
